From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 85.146.24.65). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on [[User_talk:{{{1}}}|my Talk page]] – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to User:JzG. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Sam Blanning(talk) 12:30, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Petros471 12:37, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. BillC 12:33, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Hermeticism, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. savidan(talk) (e@) 21:20, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning re changes to Vatican City and Benedict XVI

[edit] Human

Please propose any image changes to the Human article on its Talk page first before adding it. The image already included in the article has been a long standing image and changing it without discussion would be considered controversial. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:25, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

You have violated the three-revert rule. Any administrator may now choose to block your account. In future, please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future, instead of edit warring.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:28, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated.-- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 19:29, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] July 2007

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Johannes Kepler. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Spellcast 21:16, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] First and only warning

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Beyond Good & Evil (video game), you will be blocked from editing. --MrStalker (talk) 01:15, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Moved your comment

I moved your comment to the section above "whose in?" where we were already discussing the collage image, on Dutch People. I'll reply later, cheers. - PietervHuis (talk) 14:41, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:46, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
