[edit] what is an ethnic Austrian

  • The article is referring to the German-speaking, Austrian ethnic group, indigenous to the lands of what is now Austria. German-speaking Austrians have a common Germanic culture, related to other Germanic peoples, especially Germans. They have a descent, culture and language distinct from the non-Austrian (or non-German) inhabitants or minorities of Austria. Epf (talk) 08:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
