[edit] Tin whistle

Hi, thanks for your contributions to this article, it's fascinating to know that the same instrument exists in other cultures. However, can you consider creating a separate article specifically for the dilli ney? It appears that the evolution, use and role in musical culture of the dilli ney and tin whistle are quite distinct, even if they are ostensibly the same instrument, but the tin whistle article only describes the British tin whistle perspective. By all means keep "see also" links from each article to the other.
