I deleted a paragraph which was incorrect/irrelevant.

OK, why do you think it was irrelevant/incorrect? The reason your edit was reverted was because you did not use the Edit summary box, which shows up when editing an article on Wikipedia. It's a small field labeled "Edit summary", under the main edit-box, which looks like this: :
Edit summary text box
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Basically, it lets everyone know that what you are doing is contributing, not vandalising. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Anyway, if you still think this info was irrelevant, bring it up at the article's talk page, my talk page, or right here. Or just take the info out again, but make sure to give an explanation for why in your edit summary. Thanks, Λυδαcιτγ 13:14, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
Or you can bring it up at User talk:Mt pisani, if that is your username. Λυδαcιτγ 13:37, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
