[edit] Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users, and you will be able to:
- Monitor changes to pages of interest with your own watchlist;
- Create new pages;
- Choose your own username, provided it is appropriate;
- Customize the appearance and behavior of the website;
- Edit semi-protected pages;
- Upload images; and
- Rename pages.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, remember to sign and date your comments with four tildes (~~~~). --Ali 02:05, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. One or more of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Alex Salmond, has been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
[edit] Vandalism - breach of Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Do not add abusive statements about living people. Such vandalism is taken very seriously indeed by Wikipedia. Indeed we have our very own project, WP:BLP to counter such underhand behaviour. If you continue you will be blocked.

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, you will be blocked for vandalism. —LOL 23:28, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. —LOL 23:29, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] No personal attacks
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
Desist now. --Mais oui! 09:03, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
- Never use Edit summaries to conduct your personal attacks. It is especially frowned upon:

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
