Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page UIF do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Universal Image Format. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 14:25, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] @ RevRagnarok -> do NOT ignore other editors comments, arguments and their work
YOU are NOT God! nor anything else... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.73.254.65 (talk)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. —GrimRevenant 07:18, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice
[edit] May 2007
Please do not remove maintenance notices from articles, as you did to MagicISO, if the suggested changes are still needed. If you believe that the problems outlined in the maintenance template do not apply to the article, it may be best to discuss the issue on the talk page. Removing maintenance templates without good cause may be considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- intgr #%@! 06:12, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Universal Image Format, you will be blocked from editing. -- intgr #%@! 06:13, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] @ intgr #%@! -> the 3rr violator -> do NOT ignore other editors comments, arguments and their work
1st read our arguments !!! - and: do NOT vandalize OUR work !!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.73.254.65 (talk • contribs)
- What arguments? As far as I can see, you are only attempting to advertise your MagicISO product on Wikipedia; you have not stated any convincing arguments, you have hardly even discussed it. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertisement.
- [1] The Universal Image Format article, surprisingly, deals with the Universal Image Format IETF standard, not your MagicISO product. If the MagicISO file format were notable enough to have its own article, it would have to have a different title to disambiguate between the two.
- Your edit comment on the disc image emulator article states "MagicDISC (definitely FREEware! and: definitely NOT part of MagicISO!" while the MagicDISC article redirects to MagicISO, and the latter explicitly states that MagicDISC is a component of MagicISO.
- I have not reverted your edits more than three times within a 24-hour period; I have not violated the 3RR policy; I am merely cleaning up after your spam-spree.
- If you want to override a consensus, please discuss it on the talk page in a coherent and constructive manner, unlike your previous blurbs [2] [3] [4]
- Do not remove the {{notability}} template from MagicISO until the article actually satisfies the notability guideline.
- And finally:
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked indefinitely without further warning.
For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. -- intgr #%@! 17:48, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] @ intgr #%@! -> the 3rr violator -> STOP bullshitting us & do NOT take revenge !!!
and do NOT DELETE others entries - STOP misuse of ur admin-status !!! - and last but not least: discuss on the appropriate pages... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.73.254.65 (talk • contribs)
- I do not have an admin status. The article was speedy deleted following an articles for deletion nomination, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MagicISO. -- intgr #%@! 15:41, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- And note that I am not doing this out of "revenge", although you haven't demonstrated much good faith. My goal is to improve Wikipedia, and among other things, that also includes taking care of spam. -- intgr #%@! 15:45, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Universal Image Format
I agree with you that the article is notable, but simply removing the notability tag is not helpful. Discuss why you think the article is notable on the discussion page and if a consensus is reached, remove the tag. 76.21.33.66 01:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
ALL the things are said more then once over a long time...
- Then listen to them instead of blindly engaging in edit wars over the articles in question and making attacks on our editors. Shadow1 (talk) 21:08, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- @Shadow1 - have u LiSTEN the previous statement? - if NOT, once again especially for you: ALL the things are said more then once over a long time...
- AND: do NOT destroy/bullshitt other editors work...
