[edit] Design values

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Design values, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sunray (talk) 00:44, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I am not sure if I do this right. Never use a talk page before (sorry). I am the copyright holder of the copyrighted material. It is my own PhD I have been copying parts from. Am I not allowed to do that even when I am the author?

How do I grant Wikipedia permission to use it?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Usability, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please dont remove sources from articles without no explanation --Enric Naval (talk) 18:35, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Hum, I see that you are removed the same source from Oslo School of Architecture and Design from several articles. I assume that there is a good reason for this? --Enric Naval (talk) 18:43, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes it was me who put it in the first place, but after more consideration did I not think it was the right reference for instances where I removed it. Sorry for not giving an explanation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.208.68.188 (talkcontribs) 20:11, 1 June 2008

OK, no problem, don't worry, I see that it was just a misunderstanding. I'm stroking out my warning. --Enric Naval (talk) 05:11, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Hu12 (talk) 18:55, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
