Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. I don't know who you are, Ian, but seeing as Wikipedia is an open project then I feel my contributions should be welcomed. I'm not linking to any of the above pages. The site is not mine. It is clearly not commercial, and is clearly a community site for the town. Please respect my decision to add it.
You are *not* the overseer of Wikipedia, stop acting like one.
- Then may I ask that you are please civil in your comments, and do not make personal attacks. You also may need to understand that wikipedia is a community - and as a community we ensure that links provided help to improve the Wikipedia. We also work through disucssion, and I ask you discuss on the talk page as I am inviting you to. If you are not prepared to talk this over, then I don't see why your judgement is any better than mine. [admin] Ian¹³/t 19:46, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Ian, I have perfectly civil in my discussions so far and if you have cause to complain then feel free to say exactly what you are having a problem with. I will discuss this - but only if you stop removing my edits and act civilly towards me. Your decisions are no better than mine, but until you stop acting like the great overseer then I don't see why I should stop re-editing my changes back in.
- As I have said this is a Wiki, and people edit work and try and build on. I have expressed in great detail on the article talk page my concerns, so far of which none have been addressed. Please may I ask we work together over at Talk:Bradley Stoke. Thanks! Ian¹³/t 19:39, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
