[edit] Reference Point
Hi - I see you've changed Reference's Point record back to 10-7-1-1, from 10-8-1-0. Have you got a reference (no pun intended!) for that? I've taken the figures 10-8-1-0 from pedigreequery.com but they could be wrong, can you let me know where 10-7-1-1 is substantiated? Thanks.--Bcp67 (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi - Yes, I changed it because RP finished 3rd on his 2yo debut in a maiden race (at Leicester I believe), before winning the Dorking Stakes and the Futurity, ie. 2yo form figures of 311-. I realise this needs a reference, i'll try to find one ! --83.67.50.185 (talk) 08:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Hello again - here is a reference, showing his record as per St Leger day as 311/112111, hope this is OK !

There is also a series of 6 videos on youtube about his career, in this first one Henry Cecil is interviewed and refers to him being well beaten due to running lazily on debut:

Hope that helps. --83.67.50.185 (talk) 09:11, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Just looked up his 2yo career in the Sporting Life Flat Results for 1986. His 3rd place debut was at Sandown Park in a mile race - I'll stick those on the page as well. Thanks. --Bcp67 (talk) 09:12, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
