Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. [edit] March 2007 Edits
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Chickyfuzz14(user talk) 01:14, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Hang on a second. I read about this today in Dublin's Evening Herald newpaper, something to do with Mr. Smith performinga at a London venue and afterwards made a sexual gesture at Ms Miller who responded with the comment as mentioned in the edit.... I therefore thought it was relevant to the person in question.
- In a way, that is vandalism due to the fact that no sources can be recorded from that. For more information on that, look at Attribution. If you can get a copy of the newspaper, and get a link to it, that is okay, but otherwise, it is considered vandalism. We (editors) get a lot of notes like yours on pages that are actually vandalism, so just get a link of the newspaper, and post a link to the page at the bottom as a reference. An example would be: (bracket)ref> your link here . If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me again. Chickyfuzz14(user talk) 02:20, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
I understand why it is considered vandalism. The Evening Herald don't publish their news online. So fair enough. We'll leave the edit alone then.

- Thank you. It is very nice when someone can give something up like that. But, don't make this stop you from editing Wikipedia. Create an account. It can help you a lot and access you to a lot more things than using your IP account. Here is a cool welcoming:
Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Thanks again. Chickyfuzz14(user talk) 03:00, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
