[edit] Re: your apology
Hello there, thanks for your apology. Warnings about vandalism shouldn't be removed from your talk page, as the removal itself is seen as a form of vandalism. Unfortunately, this applies even if the warnings apply to someone else with your IP address (in this case, your brother). Warnings on a talk page can, over time, create a bad reputation for that user and make that IP address more likely to be blocked. In your case, a single warning in the past shouldn't be cause for concern. More troubling would be several warnings, especially warnings given in rapid succession.
In the future, I would suggest that you find some way of keeping your brother away from your computer, such as using a password. While you're at it, you might consider registering for Wikipedia. That way, your IP address will be hidden to most users. If you do choose to sign up, you should keep your password secret, so that your brother doesn't tarnish your user account.--Tachikoma 00:06, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
