[edit] Segar Bastard and London Bridge
Hi - thanks for experimenting recently on the Segar Bastard and London Bridge pages. However, both additions are trivia which prove out of context to the subjects of the articles, so your recent efforts have been removed. Your future editing experience will be better advanced by using the sandbox. Thanks. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 22:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
I admit the Segar Bastard one was a joke for the benefit of football365.com, however I disagree entirely with your assertion that my contribution to the London Bridge article was unnecessary. At the very least, I have changed it to say that "this is not the only possible explanation" (for driving on the left). I for one expect an encyclopedia to either categorically tell me that that is why we drive on the left, or to tell me, if it is unknown, that other possibilities exist. I'd hate anyone to read it, declare it as fact and then get shot down by several other explanations they never knew existed. The article should at least allude to the existence of other explanations.
