The notability of the subject Edward Steptoe is asserted in the link from Historylink, an encyclopedia of Washington history. This means that speedy deletion does not apply per WP:CSD#A7. However, you had tagged the article as WP:CSD#G1, when it is not "an unsalvageably incoherent page with no meaningful content". Since your previous few edits were vandalism, I took a shot in the dark. ... discospinster talk 15:46, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Weymouth appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. RapidR (talk) 15:26, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Weymouth

Please would you stop vandalising the Weymouth article. (Weymouth is very clearly and obviously not a village, so your continual changes to that effect can only reasonably be considered vandalism.)--85.158.139.99 (talk) 16:04, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

There's a "Weymouth Town Centre Management Group" listed by the borough council: not a "Village Centre Management Group". Please stop trying to impose your individual ideas on Wikipedia. If you want to discuss it, please do so on the article's talk page. --RobertGtalk 16:36, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
I didn't see Weymouth called a village on any of the sources I checked; do you have other sources? You should discuss them on the talk page rather than edit-warring; if you are right and can prove it to the satisfaction of the community, then your desired changes will stand, while if you keep forcing through your desired changes without discussion, you'll just be blocked again. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:39, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Request reason: "blocked for one edit made by someone else ?"

Decline reason: "It's an astounding coincidence, your trying to edit just three minutes after 'someone else' used your ip to vandalize Wikipedia.
