This archive is from the last person who used the IP address. It was blocked for 1 month back then.

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Hi, I just got this IP when I put my router back in - saw the block message and it says about asking for unblock. I can't become a contributor!"

Decline reason: "As per this, I'm contacting the blocking administrator. This will be deat with hastily, and therefore there is no need to re-add the unblock tags. I am declining this to get it out of CAT:RFU until it has been re-evaulated per [1]. Cheers, Daniel.Bryant 09:27, 3 October 2006 (UTC)"

Request reason: "Hi Daniel, thanks for the reply. I find I get a new IP address everytime I leave the router unplugged and then re-connect it in again. I got the message as I was trying to edit the Leeds article and want to contribute to this encyclopedia positively. Maybe can you change the block to anon-only so I am forced to register. I can't register an account. Please be very careful how you word the block summary, as other flatmates will be reading this if they try to edit. I like the encyclopedia and want to help the project, not hinder it.

I don't mind a month-long block on anonymous access, but allow me to create an account so I can help this project. I know a bit about cars, Europe, food and drink, health-related issues - allowing me to edit would be good.

The username I wish to create is Standingstones"

Decline reason: "Sorry reallocation of IP's doesn't happen like that. The user behind this IP who I blocked ususally y passes a string of stories absolutely anything to get unblocked. If I'm wrong of course, no problem, just unplug your router and reconnect since you get a new IP address everytime. --pgk 18:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)"

Request reason: "Allow this IP to create the user Standingstones (talk · contribs), but block anon edits, and we promise to be good. I can assure you, that Gold-Horn seems to be a WoW/Pigsonthewing imitator, not a sockpuppet"

"Oh, and one more thing, vandalism can stop if you promise to help us with encyclopedic articles. Note... vandalism can stop if you help us!" [2] almost sounds like a threat...you're coming very close to getting that 1 month block extended even further. --  Netsnipe  ►  19:49, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Request reason: "That was not a threat the request for help - we need it, genuinely. We genuinely want some help from more experienced people here so that we can work together positively. We will accept the month-long block provided you give us help and teach us how to be positive contributors. You see, we're new to this place, OK??

We need help on how to integrate ourselves within this environment! BTW, we will accept the month-long block, you win.

BTW, Gold-Horn is a good contributor, but he's always on the move so thats why he uses difrent IPs."

Seems to be number of contradictions here, above you say gold horn seems to be an imitator of WoW etc. now you say he's a good contributor. Not that the user has been directly mentioned in context of this block, and seems quite a coincidence you know him since earlier today you were claiming you only jsut acquired the IP having plugged in your router. You also seem keen on keep on removing sections of this talk page, so I'll protect the page for now, the reviewing admin can decide the best course of action (hint the history of unblock requests today is more than is visible just now). --pgk 22:22, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
