[edit] Re: Talk/Muhammad/images
Since I have no idea who you are, I will just reply to some of the things you mentioned in your last message;
- "My friend I know we can not change the world but if someone is trying to abuse your religion, you should protest to let the other people know that it is against your religious beliefs, so, that other people should get clear about ur concepts"
-
- Nobody is abusing our religion what so ever, these pictures do not depict our prophet in a bad way...plus they were drawn by Muslims in the first place. The fact that we do not depict him does not mean that the whole world has to, same as you do not follow Christian or Jewish laws, non-Muslims do not have to follow Islamic rules. But when non-Muslims depict Muhammed in a bad way, that is an insult to Him, and then...and only then, we have the right to protest (however not like what happened before).
- "Being Muslim we love Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) more than anyone else, so, we should make other people clear that they are doing a wrong thing which only creates disturbance"
-
- Well actually, we love Allah more than anyone, then comes Muhammad. Second, the point is that we having it not acceptable to show the prophet, is not a good enough reason for the whole world not to doing so. And the only "disturbance" that happens is the one coming from our side...that emphasizes the fact that we can not coexist with the western society
- "We should perform our duty and if still nothing happens, GOD is enough to handle everything alone. So, you should support the Muslims in this duty and play your role instead of saying come on guys"
-
- Who is to say what our "duty" is...perhaps our duty is to accept it, in order not to repel people from Islam. Perhaps somebody who was thinking of converting to Islam saw what is going on, and then he thought that he would not like to follow a religion that tells everybody (not just its followers) what to do. So maybe the role I played, was much more important than "your duty", showing the world the Muslims can be open minded, and can think before doing anything...not just doing what everybody else is doing.
I know that my reply maybe unpleasant to you, but you have to know all the points of views, not just yours...Keep in mind that protesting everything is not in our benefit, especially since there is nothing offensive or against our religion. Learn to be more open minded and let the small things pass by... The fact that you don't want the pictures doesn't mean that everybody else should not have it available because you [we] are not living alone in this world. Try to make friends and not to gain enemies.
