Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Thames Barrier Park, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Not to worry ;). To be honest, if I didn't care much about Wikipedia, I'd probably have written exactly the same by now - I visited the park recently just to see the fountains, and was fairly p'd off when I found that they were off.
- I certainly wouldn't call you a mindless vandal - after reverting your edit, I took a look at your contributions, and they certainly seem good. I guessed that it was probably a 'once off'. Just remember that Wikipedia isn't for personal opinions - it's a factual encyclopedia.
- As far as policing of Wikipedia goes, it might interest you to know that the length of time between you making that edit and me reverting it was actually suprisingly long - most non-constructive edits will be reverted within 10-20 minutes. One of the resons it probably took so long is that it's a very small article, with few people watching it.
- For future reference, the best place to get in touch with a user is via their talk page, and always remember to type ~~~~ after your message - the software automatically converts that into a signature and timestamp. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page ;) TheIslander 11:47, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of United Kingdom patent and trade mark attorney firms
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article List of United Kingdom patent and trade mark attorney firms, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Edcolins 21:59, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: miomi
I don't feel that it meets WP:WEB. The fact that a venture capitalist organization has put money into it is great for the company, but does not confer notability. If there are "multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself" that you can cite, please re-submit your article with the added references. The spam can probably be edited out, & that would be preferable to deletion. So you would need to use AfD to delete this. It will be necessary to register for an account first.
