If you wish to contribute to this encyclopedia, please create an account at home and log in with it here.

Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You continue to have full access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.

If editing is required for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.

Thank you.

Comments: This IP has been blocked for 3 months for persistent vandalism. This block will expire on or about July 25, 2007.

This IP has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to abuse of editing privileges. Further abuse from this IP may result in an immediate block without further warning.
Image:Info-pictogram.png Attention:

This IP address, 82.198.250.72, is registered to London Grid for Learning (UK secondary schools) and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact London Grid for Learning (UK secondary schools) to report abuse.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. Now look here, you, this is a new IP without any vandalism history on it, don't you go getting this one blocked. That's selfish. I'm guessing you're at school so get back to work, find something better to do. 82.198.250.72 10:41, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

This is just brilliant. Due to the block, I can't edit any pages regardless of whether or not I am signed in as The1exile. Can't a compromise be made? Selective blocks perhaps? If you look at the timeframe of vandalism then there is always one particular time of day when vandals use these IP's: 12:10 until 13:10. --82.198.250.72 13:36, 28 February 2006 (UTC)/ The1exile
  • Due to collateral damage, I've removed the block on this IP. You might want to have a talk with your network administrators and find out if they can track down the vandal. –Abe Dashiell (t/c) 16:30, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
I already have. Vandals, plural. One was caught vandalising, and was subsequently blocked locally temporarily, but now the known vandal of wikipedia was apparently not the one doing the vandalising. The reason I suggest selective blocks is because I occasionally edit wikipedia in the lunch hour (1:20 to 1:40 usually), whilst the vandal(s) do so while supposedly working (with one notable exception). --The1exile 16:41, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

i am on a computer in S2 at holland park school, london. Is everyone involved in this in the same location? or is the ip just the same?

I think it might be shared among computers on the London grid for learning. And sign you comments. --The1exile - Talk - Contribs - 18:44, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future punishments such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our polices concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. utcursch | talk 13:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
