User talk:82.195.137.125
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This IP address, 82.195.137.125, is registered to RIPE NCC, and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.
For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.
If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.
Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.
Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation. |
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Olorin28 20:14, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Hall Monitor 20:21, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
- [OMIGOD??? I hope you realise that this is an IP router with MANY users and I have NO IDEA who was on this site on 23rd November or what they were posting? I shall be trying to find out. --82.195.137.125 21:11, 13 December 2005 (UTC)]
[So why won't you block Sam Vaknin for his deletions this morning? Why IS it one rule for Sam Vaknin and another for everybody else? Why IS Wikipedia enabling somebody like him to this extent? I have more interest in truth and justice than in Wikipedia, particularly if this kind of abuse is what goes on behind ALL the scenes --82.195.137.125 20:59, 13 December 2005 (UTC)]
[edit] Hello there
The narcissism article: It seems you are a bit inflamed at the other users. Try to cool down a bit and take a break. If there is any mis-editing going on at the article, ask me or any other administrator to comment on it. To try and fight edits in, it almost always fails, because when you are hostile, ppl don't want to deal with you. I'm not pretending to tell you how to feel; I'm just saying bees like to come to honey more than vinegar. And it usually works!
A lot of ppl get frustrated with Wikipedia when they first come on. It takes some time to develop the savvy you need to interact successfully. And I can tell you one thing: if you manage to end this conflict peacefully, you will have won your first battle. You might not see it now, but you will later. Cheers! --DanielCD 20:42, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- [Daniel, I truly do not think I will ever care very much about a site where administrators misrepresent their own actions and those of others or where empirical abusers take precedence over truth and justice. I know you mean well, and I thank you for it, but if I ever made active peace with that kind of perfidy I would never forgive myself. After what I have seen in the past 24 hours, I want no further part of this site. --82.195.137.125 21:06, 13 December 2005 (UTC)]

- Well, all I can say is that what was responded to here was the hostility. The edits haven't even really been discussed in a civil manner. Sorry to see you go, but ya gotta do what ya gatta do. Take care. --DanielCD 21:10, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

- Plus, I don't know Sam Vaknin from s**t or shinola. If he's doing something unjust, there are editors here that can set it right. --DanielCD 21:12, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

- [Daniel, I only just realised that what is being responded to here on 23rd November isn't me...this is an IP router...please help me clear THIS aspect up??? --82.195.137.125 21:14, 13 December 2005 (UTC)]

- Wow. Make a complicated situation more complicated...lol. It might help to get an account. I don't know too much about routers and such; I've never needed one. I'm not sure how to clean up a mess like that (other than with copious amounts of talk page space used to explain).

Why don't you get an account and start fresh. Just let this one fade away. Then you can really start clean. --DanielCD 21:22, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

- [I have an account (I THINK?) but I cannot afford to link that to my IP with the followers of Samvak watching...you have NO IDEA how bad that could get, for real. It's so bad that people are scared to challenge him in the smallest way. I do think Jfdwolff may have been influenced by the November 23rd stuff I knew nothing about, but that is for him to explain, not me, and as he has been so economical with the truth today I doubt if he will have the stones for it (not sure I would in his shoes, but then I would NEVER be so economical with the truth either) --82.195.137.125 21:47, 13 December 2005 (UTC)]
[edit] Narcissism
I'll try to look at it as soon as I'm able. It does really need a major copyedit. --DanielCD 02:10, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- Here, almost a month later...I finally make some progress...lol. But really, the intro makes me feel like polishing an apple. I like it. --DanielCD 21:03, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

- [I don't know, I see changes ;o). In fact, is's SUCH a nice article that someone copied it to his "npd at a glance" at some point recently, not realising that "webarchive" would give the game away on who copied who --82.195.137.125 02:31, 7 January 2006 (UTC)]
