Thank you for paying such attention to this article. However, you have added a couple of unsourced statements recently, which I have now removed. If you can provide a source for these comments, then by all means add them to the article, but please don't be offended if I remove any unsourced statements. – PeeJay 15:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Ritchie Jones, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. – PeeJay 11:35, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ritchie Jones. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. – PeeJay 12:51, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR block

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
The duration of the block is 24 hours. Here are the reverts in question. Nishkid64 (talk) 02:20, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ritchie Jones

WikiProject Football's notability guidelines state that a player must have played at least at Under-21 level for him/her to be considered notable. It therefore stands to reason that only international appearances at Under-21 level and above should be included in the infobox. If you can find Jones' appearance stats for the England Under-21 side, then please add it to the infobox. Anything below that, I will delete it. – PeeJay 19:20, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

I have explained my reasoning to you quite rationally. If you refuse to accept it, that is your problem, not mine. – PeeJay 19:34, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ritchie Jones, again

The player's article is not a place to put all the latest news about him. So what if he's been given a free transfer? Has he actually left the club yet? Have any clubs offered him a contract? If the answer to either of those questions is "yes", can it be verified by a reliable source? If not, it's not going in the article. – PeeJay 12:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

I thought wikipedia was a source that the public had the access to, to find out details on a particular subject. You are saying the public have no right to know that Ritchie Jones is not going to be playing for Manchester United next season. I would have thought that was withholding information about him.
Surely if a player is not staying at a club it is in the publics interest to know that information. His contract is not being renewed and i have proof of this in writing from Manchester United. This has been verified by the simple fact that the PFA have posted Ritchie on a free transfer. As you will have currently read on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cristiano_Ronaldo you will see all the latest news or should i say speculation about him. I suggest you are being personally vindictive towards Ritchie Jones.
His listing by the PFA could just mean that United have said that no club needs to pay a fee to sign Jones. The fact is that we don't know what the situation is. Not through reliable sources, anyway. Wikipedia policy is "verifiability, not truth", meaning that even if something is true, we cannot report it unless it has already been reported by a secondary source. Unless you can categorically verify that Jones will definitely not be offered a new contract by United using a reliable source, we cannot include this info. End of. – PeeJay 12:42, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

So your site informs everyone that C Ronaldo is going to move to real madrid is ok to publish which has been rejected by man utd. But a youth team player who is leaving the club gets no mention. You seem like a nice lad!!!!

First, Cristiano Ronaldo's "move" has been reported by practically every reliable source out there. Ritchie Jones' release, on the other hand, has not. Second, you should not vandalise others' userpages, as it can get you into trouble. – PeeJay 13:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

boy you aint the brightest bulb in the box...quote The player's article is not a place to put all the latest news about him unquote look a few lines up above thats what you wrote,, how childish are you!!!!

Yes, when I said that I meant it's not the place to put every single bit of news about the player. Being placed on a hypothetical free transfer list is not news. – PeeJay 08:35, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
