Please read these two talkpages. If I'm correct, User:Snowolfd4 and User:Taprobanus were addressing to you. [1][2] --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 14:05, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

- I think http://www.uthayam.net/ cannot be consider as a Reliable sources. If you can find any independent sources like foreign news agencies, it would be great.
- One thing more. When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). [edit] Flag of Sri Lanka
Okay buddy, you are saying The lion in the flag was brandishing a weapon, whilst facing the stripes of the Muslim and Tamil minorities. So could you brain storm and propose me a better way to arrange all those symbols (color stripes and lion) in the flag?(on top of the lion? behind? bottom? background?) ???? :-) --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 15:03, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Why does it have to be a lion brandishing a flag at all, and not a "strip" as the other minorities have? Just saying, minorities did find the flag a bit offensive, and that is a fact. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.153.141.98 (talk • contribs).

- Obviously minorities may find it offensive, but think wisely what will happen if those color stripes placed under the lion or near the lion's bottom? What will happen if those color stripes placed on top of the lion? or in the background of the flag? Seriously I have no idea about that. Do you? --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 15:18, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

- Yup, i agree with you there, but the whole idea of one ethnic group having an animal brandishing a weapon, while others have strips caused offence, and this was brought to light in Parliament by Senator Nadesan. I wanted to include that in the article, as there was controversy over the design of the flag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.153.72.102 (talk • contribs)

- Again you didn't sign. Anyway I agree but tamilnation.org does not meet the criteria of WP:RS. --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 15:51, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for not signing. Ok, but the facts were, Senator Nadesan did bring up the issue with parliament, and there were some people who were disgruntled by the design of the flag. Otherwise the issue would not have been brought up at all.82.153.72.102 18:05, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

- Yes I can understand wheat you're talking about. If you can find a reliable source for that please go ahead I have no problem at all. First I think you should first create an account for yourself to prevent yourself being labeled as a vandal. Let us know when you create an account ok? :-) --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 10:50, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
