[edit] Login?

Why not create an account? It'll make life easier. Friday (talk) 17:34, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

I have one. After a long string of very bad experiences involving idiots trying to push crap into WP, I made a conscious decision to stop using it. Think apostasy for the modern age. 18:16, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Well sure. Lots of people try to put crap into wikipedia. I personally think that fighting off such junk is easier with an account, but maybe that's just me. Friday (talk) 18:23, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm not talking your run-of-the-mill vandals, but genuine idiots. The ones who think that somehow WP is a repository for every foot of tarmac, kindergarten, class president, small business, etc. as long as you can write a decent stub on it (the Schoolwatch crowd are prime examples). As a result, I'm not fighting junk on any serious basis. In particular, I'm not tempted to start using my old account again simply so folk can drag me through the mud again. I'll leave that for other willing victims. 18:37, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
You mean stuff like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brighton Road? Too true. There's a problem with afd - the cruftlovers pile on and the 99% of the population with more sense but less passion don't vote. Sigh. 09:23, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "vandalism"

What you're complaining about here isn't nonsense or vandalism. It's a simple content dispute. Things will go easier if you discuss it on the talk page instead of leaving silly warnings. Friday (talk) 14:56, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Blanking content, damaging the article or adding nonsense, derogatory/insulting language or profanity to Wikipedia is considered vandalism. Such activity will lead to you being blocked. Stop now! Thank you. Gator (talk) 22:01, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
