[edit] Notability of Talk:Ari freyr

A tag has been placed on Talk:Ari freyr requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Od Mishehu 09:31, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Message at the top of this page.

I seriously think there should be a message that says this is shared school ID. Can someone help me with that? I have never tagged that kinda stuff before. 82.148.70.2 09:46, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

You could use this template. {{SharedIP|name of your school}}. You only have to insert the name of your school.--Thw1309 10:00, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Four-letter word

Please read Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, which all articles must follow. This is especially a concern at Four-letter word. Wikipedia is a neutral, verifiable encyclopedia; it is not a place to argue a particular point of view. Thank you. 15:34, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Also, please note WP:V and WP:RS. You can't include something just because you heard it somewhere; you must also find reliable sources to support your claim. 11:51, 14 October 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.2.251.4 (talk)
{{HelpMe}}Excuse me? The article is assuming that suck is a cuss word, how is that any more unacceptable than saying it isn't? 82.148.70.2 12:49, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
I think the issue is that the article is on four-letter words that could be considered vulgar, not necessarily cuss words. Hoof Hearted 13:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Legal drinking age

Hi, you made an edit setting the legal purchase age in Iceland as 18. Did you mean to set the legal drinking age? I've added a ref for the purchase age being 20, I don't have any recent refs for the legal drinking age. --Bazzargh (talk) 18:02, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Redirects I made in good faith.

Cometstyles keeps reverting them without a reason. He just reverts them, that's all. I'd be happy if Cometstyles gave me some reasons to revert, reverting good faith edits without a reason is not a good faith, just look at my previous edits to see what I mean. On the toolong template, the only reason given was "look at the history" which is not a reason either because the history doesn't show WHY it should redirect there. Someone have a discussion with that guy please? The post I made at Talk:Shit was pretty rude, so I want to bring this up here. At least he gave reason of reverting me on Piece of shit, but only some time AFTER I asked that person to give me a reason. I'm sick of being reverted without a reason, I find it rude personally, I know it's rude of me to say that, but I really would appricate it if Cometstyles gave me reason of reverting me, instead of reverting without an edit summary. 82.148.70.2 (talk) 09:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

It was preferred to be be redirected to Feces. You should've discussed it first. ClanCC (T / C) 10:35, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
I am not discussing that redirect, I'm discussing being reverted without a reason in general. When I ask for a reason, I do NOT expect to keep being reverted without a reason. 82.148.70.2 (talk) 10:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
