[edit] "Movie"

"Movie" is American SLANG, why can't we use "film" which is proper formal international English instead?

Yes, we can. the problem is not in the name. Actually, there are two of them.
The first one is that you are an anonymous editor, and I have problems with explaining what you have done wrong. Of course, I could have left a message at User talk:82.118.120.77 (like I am doing it now, in adition to my own talk page), but experience shows that in 98% of cases this is useless. As I see you are making quite a few contributions. Why don't you get yourself a name? It will take only a coulpe of minutes, but will give you a number of conveniences.
Now, back to the case. Every article has a history of edits, see "Page history" link. By copying a content of the article into another page you are makig this history lost. There is a special function called "Move this page" to rename articles without losing the track of edits.
As for SLANG, I am afraid that the word is the mainstream now. American English has the same rights for existence as the British one, and is the issue would be put to vote, I am not at all sure who will win. There are quite a few editors who change "organization" into "organisation" and "color" into "colour" at every wikipage they can lay their hands on. And the comparable number (may be even larger) does exactly the opposite. Therefore there are the following rules of thumb. Articles on British issues have rights to command British English. American-related ones call naturally for American English. Any other article is better left in the (A vs. B) language of the last decent edit (of course, the language must be consistent thoughout its text). Mikkalai 18:24, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Film is the proper formal term for a motion picture. "Movie" is slang, and colloquial (note the dimunitive ending "-ie"). I have no particular penchant for "British English", but American English is NOT always international - despite the fact some Americans think it always is. I intend on getting a user name soon (this is not a home pc, but a cafe one), but I am logging off just now (too much time on today). I take your points on board, and am listening to what you have to say. I notice you have done a lot of good work elsewhere on wikipedia in areas I'm interested in... all the best.
