[edit] Stephenson valve gear

Your change to the picture caption has no source, but looks interesting. I have moved it to the discussion page for the present. Is there anything you can add?--Old Moonraker 15:46, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

See http://www.themt.de/org-0015-49.htm#stph PetrS.

Thanks. I've added the link to the Talk:Stephenson valve gear page. --Old Moonraker 15:15, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
See also Image:CSD 310.093 Allan-Trick detail.jpg - this is the same engine as on the picture in this article. In Austrian monarchy was used this Allan Trick valve gear on many engines. You see, that the valve stem hangs on the same arm as the link - this is different from Stephenson gear. PetrS.

OK, I've posted this as well. Why aren't we conducting this conversation on the Talk:Stephenson valve gear page now, by the way? I suppose it's my fault – I started off here. ATB --Old Moonraker 10:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
