[edit] Robin Cox Notability

Hello. Please look at the additions I recently made to the Robin Cox page. I think that the additional information makes the case for his notability. I think that there is a general problem with established but still emerging names such as Mr. Cox. While not known nationally he makes quite an impact on the Central Coast music scene as a composer, performer, teacher and producer. I appreciate your input so I can save this article from deletion.Canticle (talk) 05:59, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2QN - Prod removed, please look for sources next time

Prod removed, sources added. Don't systematically try to delete everything unsourced please - the first 2 google hits were RS and are now being used in the article. Dihydrogen Monoxide (Review) 10:30, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Register?

Hello 82.11.63.20,

You've done some good work on Wikipedia. Have you considered registering with the site? You get greater editting capabilities (such as a username, a watchlist, no code prompt for adding external links) and (usually) greater respect and communication from other users. Hope you have a think about this. It'd be great to have you on board. -- Jza84 · (talk) 02:14, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] When placing prods

Please make it easier for t he admins like me who must review them.

  1. . Always use an edit summary that includes the word "prod". This is actually a requirement
  2. .In the prod tag, give some idea of the subject field of the person--most of us specialize a little & it cuts down on the number that any one person need review--I leave it to others to do the pop singers, for example.
  3. .It is considered courteous to inform the author of the article, so he has a chance to improve it. Remember, deletion is the last resort. You can do this easily using the semi-automatic links on the Prod box. that appears on the article. This is not yet strictly required, but surely you want to do this is the most polite way possible.

You're doing good work, and keep it up. And why not get a user name? Its even more anonymous? DGG (talk) 12:41, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

btw, some of the prods were from people who have published multiple books or produced other clearly notable work. If in doubt, please check first at least in Google--and if relevant, Google Scholar. And "not-referenced" is NOT a reason for deletion at WP if the subject appears to be notable. Only an "unsourced" tag is appropriate. Various admins besides myself have been removing almost one-third of your tags. DGG (talk) 13:33, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
