Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Anarchism. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Baseball,Baby! ballsstrikes 09:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Hello - thanks for the message. Would you please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~) so others don't have to dig through edit histories to find out who you are? Thanks.
I did read the Talk:Anarchism page, but what I saw was an unsigned statement with no responses from anyone else. There was a section above your statement with a discussion of the topic, but you weren't a participant in that discussion (again, sign your posts), so I sniffed 'vandal' and that's why I reverted.
The content of the article is up to the group, not me. If you feel there's consensus for your edits, go for it. I'm here to stop the vandals, not good faith editors, and I hope you can see how easily one can be confused for the other. Thanks again for the message, and happy editing - Baseball,Baby! ballsstrikes 10:26, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Anarchism, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. ~ Butros (Talk) 09:40, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Even if you don't agree with it, we can't remove large sections without consensus on the talk page. If you get enough support, maybe you could rewrite the section, but I would not change it until then. Thanks. ~ Butros (Talk) 09:52, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
I see it now, I'll stop reverting. Sorry for the inconvenience! ~ Butros (Talk) 10:10, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

I have moved your comment on the Anarchism talk page to the bottom, which is the normal convention here. You need to discuss and agree with other editors before removing en-mass such large sections of articles. Many editors regard that as vandalism, as you can see from the responses here. You may wish to consider creating an account which offers many benefits when compared to editing as an unregistered user. Here are some useful links to help you get started:

If you need to experiment and improve your editing skills, you can use the sandbox quite safely.

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your user name or IP address, plus a date and timestamp after your message. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page.

Happy editing .... -- Cactus.man 09:46, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. The reason I left you the above message was precisely because I saw your post to the talk page after I reverted your large content deletion. It was obviously done in good faith, but I think you need to discuss further with the article contributors. From a quick read of the talk page, the only discussion I see on this issue (other than yours) is here, with only 2 editors commenting. Some of the comment was to move information around within the article rather than perform a blanket delete, which is what you have repeatedly done. You need to get consensus for such large changes before continually reverting. Please be mindful of the 3 revert rule, and always seek agreement before making wholesale controversial deletions of content. --Cactus.man 10:43, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Three Revert Rule

Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. — FireFox (talk) 10:32, 8 August '06
