Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 81.167.131.224). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism.

[edit] Re: my edits & yours to The Phantom

As I indicated in my restoration of my cite request for the statement that The Adventures of Captain Africa serial began as a sequel to The Phantom in the earlier serial's article, the linked in report fell well short of saying that anything was filmed before the Captain Africa name was devised. Indeed, it falls a bit short of saying it was even scripted otherwise. Also note that I have such a request on a similar passage in the article for the later serial, and an explanation on its talk page, including a good source, a professional book on the old serials by two respected superhero, etc., historians, that strongly implies (at the least) the contrary.

As for the "Kit" edit, I point out that, despite the indication of your edit summary, I did not contradict the claim that Kit had not been used in the comic strip at that time. I merely added the fact that Walker was used in the serial as a civilian name for the Phantom (which I am well aware that you left in, don't misunderstand me), as this made me doubt that Kit Walker hadn't been devised then, and therefore deleted the specific statement that it hadn't. I do leave your restoration of that intact. Ted Watson (talk) 20:54, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
