Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

[edit] Memphis Belle edit

Your addition to Memphis Belle was indeed accurate. It was not the first B-17 to complete 25 missions over Europe, the Hells Angels was as you say. Unfortunately, it was deleted because you didn't give a source. While that is ok it demonstrates why so many people have become pissed off with Wikipedia and have left. It wouldn't have hurt the deleting editor to check out your info, establish that it is accurate (as it is), and add a reference. It also demonstrates how inaccurate information is protected and perpetuated on Wiki. It is supposed be a collaborative effort here too, but the place is over run by people who are hell bent on removing valid info, without making an effort themselves. That leads to absolute silliness, of course. I was taken to task for posting a violation of copyright of a website. It would have taken the editor a couple of minutes on google to see that the website had copied Wiki, not the other way round. Just a point re your addition, had a royal objected to the name Hells Angels, it would have been Queen Elizabeth, not the Queen Mother. She only became the Queen Mother when the current Queen Elizabeth was crowned. Cheers, and please just don't become yet another Wiki retiree. Nil bastardum carborundum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.153.69.153 (talk) 01:47, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
