[edit] Merge
Aloha. I've merged and redirected Natural History Museum, Vienna to the appropiate article, Naturhistorisches Museum. Please edit that page. Thank you. --Viriditas | Talk 11:58, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] How to leave a message
Heya hey, Notafly. You're quite welcome for the help with the Thomas Workman article - that's what Wikipeople do, after all, help each other out with perfecting the entries.
More to the point, I really think you'd enjoy being a registered user, for the reasons that Viriditas mentioned above. For one thing, the standard "welcome wagon" message for new registered users includes instructions on how, and where, to properly leave a message for other users. If you leave a message on someone's User Talk: page (accessible by clicking on "Discuss This Page"), then they're automatically notified that "you have new messages" - which doesn't happen if you leave the message on their User: page.
I don't actually mind that you left the message on my User: page instead of my User Talk: page, but, well, it's just tidier if all the messages are left in the same place.
Oh, and another bonus of being a a registered user: you can sign and timestamp the messages with a string of four tildes (~~~~). And remember, it's free: just go to the login page, come up with a username and a password, and that's it. Don't even need to provide an e-mail address if you don't want to. And you can apply to have all the edits that you made while an anonymous user transferred to your registered account.
Looking forward to hearing from you as a registered user. DS 12:20, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. guiltyspark (talk) 10:27, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
