Attention:

This IP address, 81.129.31.26, is registered to British Telecom, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

[edit] March 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:Third opinion, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please if you think he is a sockpuppet report him at WP:SSP and if is proved that he is one, then you must revert his nonconstructive edits with joy. SMS Talk 20:51, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Blocked

This user has been blocked for 24 hours for repeatedly removing posts and requests for dispute resolution by another user. See also: Wikipedia:Blocking policy#Disruption. — Athaenara 20:57, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I was reverting a banned user User:Waterwater212 is an SPA sockpuppet of User:Gregs the baker, as supported by the fact that his only edits are to win the dispute of what Gregs the baker was blocked for edit warring on, plus he claims to be a "new user" yet new users do not immediatly go into edit wars and resolving disputes. Please see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Gregs the baker‎. 81.129.31.26 (talk) 20:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "Per Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Molag Bal (2). Apologies. – Luna Santin (talk) 08:28, 24 March 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Left a note with the blocking admin. WW does appear to be a pretty obvious sock, which seems to me to justify removing their posts. Below, though, you're accused of being a sock, yourself, and this is starting to look very complicated. Would appreciate insight from people more familiar, here. – Luna Santin (talk) 01:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
It is basically that in my view, several socks on two opposite sides at List of Geordies and talk page. I believe with the report below, that this IP is User:Zogonthetyne. They constantly revert each other, and vandalize each other, on the basis of sock-puppetry, although this user is more disruptive in my view. MickMacNee (talk) 01:44, 23 March 2008 (UTC) (Note the current Afd debtate is not part of this war yet as I see it, although it has sadly precipitated it). MickMacNee (talk) 01:46, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
That does sound plausible -- as this IP mentions, it's unusual for "new" users to immediately leap into edit wars. I could be missing prior contribs from an IP related to this one, but it's something to consider. – Luna Santin (talk) 05:58, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppetry case

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Molag Bal (2) for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. MickMacNee (talk) 21:46, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
