[edit] Vandalism

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to The Sims Online. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -Localzuk(talk) 22:12, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Excuse me, but I didn't vandalise. I've never even looked at that article. If you look above I made a useful contribution to Tiberian Sun so why would I vandalise?

[edit] Tank rush

You placed some edits on Tank rush that belong on the talk page. Arienh4(Talk) 10:02, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't know. I was just clarifying that it did not have to be at the start of a game.

[edit] Global Defense Initiative

The content you keep removing from the article's introduction is based directly on the information shown in Tiberium Wars' Intel Database; specifically, "GDI Archives" - "The Global Defense Initiative", first paragraph. Since Tiberium Wars is the most recent portrayal of the Global Defense Initiative, this is the canon content we must work with according to Wikipedia guidelines.

The content of your recent edits essentially is outdated by comparison, and thus should no longer be used since the release of Tiberium Wars. Also, it merely duplicated the content from the History section, making it redundant by nature. Please refrain from further removing correct content from the article's introduction section. Thank you. 84.192.119.41 05:58, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

But the content is NOT outdated- if it is then it should be removed from the Historical Section as well. You can't say it's outdated then also add it's redundant too. The source of the redundancy should be removed as well, because it is also outdated.

You are taking an inconsistent viewpoint here, and I'm in favour of the Westwood version of the backstory; EA have recently admitted making some errors in the backstory, which the community had incorrectly identified as simple retcons. Westwood's version may stll be intact.

Also, Tiberium Wars is the ONLY game to give GDI a blue background. Until EA firmly cements GDI's colour as blue, then I'm going to add that it's a unique colour scheme to Tiberium Wars. Personally, I think it's important to note this move away from traditional GDI colour scheme, in a Non-POV manner.

Finally, I will let this backstory issue go, as I feel that I would lose in an RfC scenario due to TW's ID entry, for now, but I still have a feeling Westwood's version is the correct one, and that EA made an unintended error, not a retcon. 81.109.94.62 12:26, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
