[edit] Your edits

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. -- Chris.B 15:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Savage Islands

Before adding controversial categories, such as Islands of Spain, to articles, such as Savage Islands, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category. The addition of a category to an article is considered a claim that the subject of the article is what the name of the category would suggest, and the article needs to contain information that backs your claim up, otherwise it will most likely be removed by another user. -- Chris.B 16:09, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page blanking

Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:80.59.223.252. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Chris.B 16:09, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, you will be blocked for vandalism. -- Chris.B 16:12, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Dabomb87 16:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Savage Islands. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. AngelOfSadness talk 16:42, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule . Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Khukri 16:51, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blanking

I want my page clean, thanks you very much :)--80.59.223.252 17:06, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi there 80.59.223.252. I noticed the above message and I thought I would share some insight about it. Even though you are well within your rights to delete content off this talk page, such edits come across as slightly uncivil and sometimes disruptive. This is possibly the reason other editors have reverted your edits to this page because you were deleting recently issued warnings:On your own user talk page, you may remove comments from others, although archiving is generally preferred and removing comments without any reason is generally regarded as uncivil. The last quote is from here, if you would like to check the page out for any other userful tips regarding talkpages. You can leave a message on My talk page if you have any questions.
