Hi, Lynne. I did not actually add that portion of the text - it was already there when I started editing the article. This was my first edit on that page (you can check out the extended edit history here). Basically, I tidied up the text already in there, and I added all but one of the sourced sentences. I would love to help you, but, unfortunately, I cannot even confirm that that particular statement is true. Although I have read Cioran, I have never studied his philosophy in depth, and mainly focused on his political involvements (which, back in the day, were not at all discussed in the article).
