[edit] Scotland on Wikipedia
If you are interested in Scotland, please visit the Scotland portal and the Scottish categories; and consider signing up to (or at least "Watch"ing) the Scottish Wikipedians' notice board and WikiProject Scotland. Thanks. --Mais oui! (talk) 19:54, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. If you're new to Wikipedia, editting the lead of the Scotland article is probably the least best place to start if I'm totally honest. It's a hotbed for some very heated debate. It's probably wiser to start with something more local, like your hometown. That's not to be taken in the sense that "you're not welcome", I just feel it would benefit you more.
- If you take an interest in Scottish and British geography, WP:UKCITIES is a resource put together to aid editors to write about places. Best of luck. --Jza84 | Talk 20:45, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
