Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 80.255.202.34). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Kukini hablame aqui 08:15, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] July 2007

This is your only warning.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Pasties, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia and other sites that use the MediaWiki spam blacklist at all. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
Removed warning per comments here and on my talk page. Trusilver 18:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

-- I was changing it back as you were editing it, you may have noticed an edit conflict, i meant to use the sandbox (*preview). It is not my website, however i was searching for "pasties" of a different sort, and thought perhaps i should mention somewhere that there was a site which offered a different type of pasties... this site has a reasonably high google page rank so i thought it perhaps worth mentioning somewhere... i decided putting a link to the site directly was a bad idea and was removing it when you did. You ought to take not of editing conflicts and give the so-called vandaliser a chance to undo their mistake. It is a pathetic lot to be conscious of such trivialities.

If someone wasn't "conscious of such trivialties", the entire project would fall apart under the many thousands of vandalism hits we get every day. However, per my comments on my talk page, I'm going to remove the warning contingent on not seeing any more spam links on articles you edit. Have a good day. Trusilver 18:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

yes, I know it would fall apart... then we'd have to go back to opening a book.. or using an on-line dictionary.. or, (forgive my heresy), a reliable source.
