Please do not repeatedly revise an article. This is called "Edit warring". If someone doesnt like your changes, and restores the prior version, the appropriate recourse is to start a discussion on the talk page, and wait for feedback. John Vandenberg (talk) 11:57, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Banu Nadir and Banu Qurayza
Please cease and desist continued reverts on both pages w/o proper talk and explanation; not only are you inciting an edit war like the above poster said, you are violating other wiki policies:
[1] Banu Nadir - it is properly sourced as something other sources say is another possibility of historical happenings; what various websites might say has no impact here if you don't source them and definitely not if they are unreliable so while you can't remove the event in the article, you can post the interpretation of its reliability next to it if you can find a Reliable Source to tag it with.
[2] Banu Qurayza - a mediation decision has already occurred that the topic title should be "demise" and we intend to keep it that way b/c that is the only thing all sides would agree to so please don't continue to stir up disagreement.

You have been repeatedly requested to substantiate the new Banu Nadir story but failed to do so. It is inconceivable that all the Muslim websites would make no mention of it if it had any truth or substance.
The term "demise" implies that the Banu Qurayza died by themselves rather than being slain after having surrendered. 80.179.192.75 (talk) 19:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- I have blocked you for 24 hours, as you continue to make the same changes[3] without discussing it on the talk page. As a result of this block you are prevented from making further modifications to Wikipedia until the 24hrs has expired. In the meantime you may still read Wikipedia, and you make ask for assistance on this page, which is the only page you are able to edit. If you think I have been unfair, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. --John Vandenberg (talk) 11:33, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
I have started a discussion on the talk page of Banu Nadir. They had ample time but failed to substantiate the story. It contradicts all the Islamic websites that speak of Muhammad's requested contribution rather than the alleged invitation to discuss religion.
As to Banu Qurayza, please note that I did not make the same changes but different versions. "Siege, surrender, slaying and slavery" would probably be the most appropriate title. 80.179.192.75 (talk) 19:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Do our posts appear as invisible text to you or do you have some sort of block on certain words, most notably "reliable", "sources", and "mediation"??? Jedi Master MIK (talk) 04:31, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Your response defies logic just as the unreliable account on the Banu Nadir eviction that you keep reposting which is unfounded in the whole history of Islam.
As to Banu Qurayza, there is no reason to skip "surrender" and to call the slaying "demise". 80.179.192.75 (talk) 15:19, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- No information is added or commented on in wikipedia w/o sources, simple as that.
- This is what the mediation came up with as most agreeable, if you weren't there, so sorry.
