[edit] BLP
I've sprotected Sam Harris (author) because you're adding poorly sourced criticism to it. If you want to add material, you must find an unambiguously reliable source; please read WP:BLP, which is policy. SlimVirgin (talk) 02:05, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- It would be helpful if you would say what your main account is. As to your query, if you read WP:SPS, you'll see that they're allowed in BLPs if the subject is the author, with certain limitations. The issue of accreditation of sources by other organizations is irrelevant. The WND source is clearly not a good one, and you need good sources for criticism in BLPs: the more serious the criticism, the better the source needs to be. If you feel the other sources used for criticism are just as bad, I'm certainly willing to look at those too.
- I have to warn you that, if you try to insert that material again without a better source when protection is lifted, you risk being blocked from editing. To avoid that, I advise you to read WP:BLP carefully; it's a policy that's strictly enforced on Wikipedia. SlimVirgin (talk) 16:01, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
