7th Indian Cavalry Brigade

The 7th (Meerut) Indian Cavalry Brigade was a formation of the British Indian Army that served during World War 1 on the Western Front as part of 2nd Indian Cavalry Division and later as an independent brigade in the Mesopotamian Campaign. In 1918 it fought at the Battle of Sharqat and was present at the occupation of Mosul at the end of the campaign, shortly after the armistice.
