The 7th Armored Division (French: 7e Division Blindée, 7e DB) was an armored division of the French Army. The division was active during the Cold War and some time after the fall of the Berlin Wall, before being disbanded. Its traditions were carried on by the 7th Armored Brigade.

The division was created after the reorganization of the French Army in 1977; it was based in Besançon and belongs to the I Corps (Metz). It was later transferred to the III Corps (Lille). The division was profesionalised and reorganized to meet the changed strategic situation after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The division was reorganised on 1 July 1999 as the new 7th Armored Brigade, which also carries on the traditions of the division.
