Attacks in the article Peter Gurney(runner)
Please do not make personal attacks as you did at Peter Gurney(runner). Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. -SpuriousQ (talk) 01:45, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- It's pretty clear the page is meant to mock your friend/enemy/whoever. Even if it was not meant as an attack, the person is not notable, and the article doesn't belong on Wikipedia. -SpuriousQ (talk) 01:49, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My user page
Hi, please don't edit my user page. Thanks. -SpuriousQ (talk) 01:47, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Well Fuck you...
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Peter Gurney(runner). If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. -SpuriousQ (talk) 01:56, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Fuck tha administrators they all hate me so... Fuck--7daytheory 20:28, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
No, they just enforce the rules. It should be obvious that you can't eliminate speedy deletion tags. There is also a big-ass message that says do not edit the user page, leave comments on the talk page. I would also like to remind you to keep a civil tongue. I'm not trying to be a wikidick or anything, but for the well-being of wikipedia, please follow the rules. If you would like to make a comment (or more likely an insult), please go to my talk page. But one last message. DO NOT insult Spurious Q. This user only has your best interest in mind, and is pretty cool. Mattbash 19:59, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Sorry about being hypocritical. I was in a bad mood. Still, I didn't want to see anyone get blocked for something as stupid as swearing at an administrator or editing a user page. Sure, I used "ass" and "wikidick"(which for the record is a real term), but that was to help get my point across. Again, sorry. No hard feelings, right? Mattbash 19:36, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Peter Gurney(runner)
A tag has been placed on Peter Gurney(runner), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Finngall 16:47, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No personal attacks
With regards to your comments on User talk:Finngall: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo 16:59, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 20:25, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your message on my talk page
Was this gem done by your "idiot brother" also? If personal attacks, nonsense, or vandalism continue from this account, it will be blocked. I suggest you figure out how to ensure only productive edits come from it. -SpuriousQ (talk) 01:40, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Archive
Regarding user talk pages, it is best to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this at Wikipedia:How to archive a talk page. Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages is often interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil. For this reason, if your deletion of notices and concerns on your user talk page is to keep the "clutter" down, I suggest that you instead create archives for these messages. --Geniac 15:50, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
