7 Years
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
7 Years is a single by the Australian band Superheist.
After the departure of original singer Roderick Macleod, Superheist recruited a new singer, Joey Biro, and started recording once more.
7 Years is the first single off the rank for the forthcoming second album for the band (Identical Remote Controlled Reactions). It is about the band's first 7 years and its struggle to remain a band.
Joey's vocal style proved not all that different from Roderick's, albeit slightly gravelier, so there wasn't much time needed to adjust, except to the more conservative and mature sound the band headed towards.
