Thank you for your contributions to the article on Hedgehogs. However, your addition was removed. While it may appear that hedgehogs do not have spines when they are born, they are simply wet and soft. After a couple hours of cleaning and drying, the spines are very visible. You can see it clearly here. These babies are less than five hours old. They are clean and dry and the spines have lifted off the body nicely. -- kainaw™ 22:19, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
