[edit] request for help
OK, that's quite enough requests to uninvolved editors: you can stop now! (No, really.) Looks like you were blocked for edits like this, which look to me to indeed be on the "vandalistic" side of "testing". If another user made those on the same computer, or reallocated IP address, then I'm afraid that's part of the the hazards of not having an account: you may wish to consider signing up. At any rate, I suggest a "fresh start" approach, rather than badgering the original blocking admin over his actions, which look to me to be pretty reasonable. Alai (talk) 23:04, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
I didn't make those edits. The admin is wrong but is so stubborn that he/she won't applogoise and keeps removing my comments now everytime i bring the matter up which is what is really winding me up. I don't think I can be bothered with this project if the admins who control all the power are going to carry on like that.
- Well, I hate to say it tough luck. That's one of the breaks you risk when you don't create an account... namely that other people can edit and you end up suffering the consequences. So I really suggest you sign up. Tabercil (talk) 23:16, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Why are you editing at User talk:Addshore/AC. I'm very tempted to block this IP for excessive and inappropriate canvassing, bordering on vandalism. MBisanz talk 23:17, 9 April 2008 (UTC),
Sorry, by the time you warned me to stop canvasing it was too late. I will stop if you unblock me and give me a chance. If not I won't bother ever coming back to this project i guess.
- Add the {{unblock|your reason here}} and let another admin look at it, I don't trust this IP to unblock it though. And it is only a 31 hour block. MBisanz talk 23:30, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
I have read your comment on my talk page and looked into your record of editing. It is quite clear that this IP has been used for vandalism. If you (the person who left a message for me) did it, you deserve blocking and I would have blocked you if I had noticed it first. If that vandalism has been done by another editor using this IP address, then the block is unfortunate for you. That is what registration is for. You should sign up for an account. --Bduke (talk) 00:09, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] April 2008
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Fucking, Austria, you will be blocked from editing. Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 23:18, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
the edits were not vandalism. the villages name is fucking.
- That's the name of the village. Using this fact as an excuse to write "it's Fucking traffic sign", "have their Fucking photographs taken", "the stolen Fucking signs", "changing the Fucking village's name", "the Fucking residents", "the Fucking road signs" and "Fucking signs being stolen" is the most transparent and juvenile of vandalism. BTW, should also have been "its". Alai (talk) 00:05, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
[edit] Please don't canvass in this manner
I have reverted your canvassing of numerous editors to shop around your complaint against Barneca, though I left your edit to the new contributors help desk. Please note that whether your complaint has validity or not is not the issue and not my basis for reverting you, but that this sort of forum shopping and drama seeking activity is highly inappropriate. Please consider taking a breath and simply moving on. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:24, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
