[edit] Hoax articles
Thanks for your inputs regarding the hoax articles. Corvus cornix 15:53, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
I think we're seeing the hoaxes for what they are. If you think there should be blocks, try a writeup at WP:RFC. Corvus cornix 20:51, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't disagree with you, if they keep hoaxing, then bans are definitely in order. Corvus cornix 20:58, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't have the same strength of assuming good faith that others have. I don't think these new versions are really parents or school officials, just the kid(s) who got caught trying to weasel out of it. But so long as they don't do any more damage, so be it. Corvus cornix 21:05, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
I agree. Once an IP has been tainted, I don't see the logical possibility of assuming anything other than suspicion. --76.83.249.234 21:20, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
You have been temporarily blocked from editing for disrupting Wikipedia by making personal attacks. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Your comments on Talk:Barbaro family are completely unacceptable. Please take some time off and cool off. When you come back, you must not make personal attacks and be incivil towards other users. Please also take time to read up on policies and guidelines to learn what is acceptable in articles and what's not. --Aude (talk) 19:19, 8 July 2007 (UTC)ّّّ
- I was undiplomatic certainly. But afterall, this is a known hoaxer we're dealing with. Or is calling out a known hoaxer considered a personal attack? I agree that some of the other things I said were undiplomatic, but is calling out a hoaxer considered a personal attack too? Anyway, I don't disagree with your rigid enforcement of Wikipedia policy. I do wish you had let me know about it beforehand as the hoaxer is now butchering some of my posts and I can't call attention to that, but I've wasted enough time with this anyway so you've really done me a favor. As for cooling off, I wrote everything I did in a calm repose and with a measure of amused exasperation. I do hope you blocked the hoaxer as well.--76.83.249.234 21:21, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Aude Comment on Barbaro Family Page
Since Aude has posted this:
In addition to User:F550, an IP was blocked today for making the same personal attacks:
76.83.249.234 (talk • contribs • WHOIS • RDNS • trace • RBLs • block user • block log) --Aude (talk) 02:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
on the Barbaro family article page after temporarily banning my IP I feel justified in asking what he/she means by "the same personal attacks"? In my humble opinion, such a vague statement has no place anywhere, let alone on wikipedia, and so I ask for clarification on this point from Aude.
If Aude is implying I'm also a part of the hoax, I can only ask people to look at the history of my IP number on Wikipedia. That's all that is in my power. Just look at the history. Injudicious, undiplomatic comments sans vulgarity (unlike Tiki-Two), yes. Playing a part in some hoax, never. hyper_individualist@yahoo.com --76.83.249.234 04:34, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hyper-individualist in on the hoax!
-
- Note, the above header and paragraph below was posted by the hoaxer, who is apparently desperately craving attention and notoriety. This hoax of his has amounted to nothing, nobody cares. His hopes at a successful hoax have crumbled and he just can't stand it. Apparently he had a lot of ego wrapped up in it and just can't drop it. He will post about this obsessively and forever it seems. He will no doubt be plaguing Wikipedia with his army of IP numbers until he matures into a man, if that ever occurs. Until then I wish him well and recommend aloe vera as a good natural treatment for acne. The above is not a personal attack on the hoaxer, it is merely my humble opinion based on assessing the hoaxer's behavior pattern. I do wish the poor lad well. -- Hyper_individualist@yahoo.com --76.83.249.234 23:51, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
I think this person may be involved in the hoax. I think he may have been working with the mailroom punk to try to destroy the Barbaro family page. I think their hoax was to first put bogus stuff out there knowing that in turn it would lead to a good Barbaro page being destroyed. I think this hyper_individualist@yahoo.com is in on it. I think that even his ID is some warning of his radical motives. I think he has something against the Barbaro family. I think this "Just look at my history" is a cover up. It was part of the planned hoax. Because I noticed that whenever there seemed to be progress of the Barbaro family page being restored properly, This Hyper guy would always jump in starting again about Tiki-two's hoax. I think that was the true hoax. To try to damage the Barbaro family page either by creating bogus secret societies to hurt the family or buy seeing this page destroyed. If you check, on those secret society talk pages, it is only a conversation between Tiki-two and Hyper-individualist. this guy is in on it. And they planned it well by using the company computer to try to make it seem that thefamily was wrong.

- Hello, Poor Hoaxer, aka "Tiki-1" on Ebay, "Tiki-Two", "F550", "65-" IP army horde on wikipedia, and perhaps "VV Barbaro" when he's attempting to run a congame/goth club out in the real world. Thank you for posting on my obscure talk page, which almost nobody will look at. It appears that you enjoy wasting hours first hoaxing and then arguing about it with Wikipedia editors on discussion and user pages. All one need do is track your IP army's behavior on Wikipedia to see that you are the hoaxer. Nobody is falling for your nonsense, especially when you don't sign your posts. You just don't understand, do you? You are pathologically programmed to sabotage your own attempts at hoaxing. You cannot succeed.
