From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 76.27.195.185, is part of a pool of dynamically allocated addresses and is registered to the following organization Comcast Cable Communications, Inc.. Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts can be made to contact Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. to report abuse.

The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

[edit] Meters

Could you, instead of just adding "m" for the HAAT field, actually spell "meters" out. It would help users that are not familiar with radio stations not be confused. I would appericate it. - NeutralHomer T:C 03:38, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! - NeutralHomer T:C 03:42, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of radio stations in STATE

Please refrain from changing wikilinked callsigns on list articles such as List of radio stations in Oregon, as all the callsigns listed are the official ones. If an article is not at the location wikilinked, it is the article that is misplaced, not a typo on the list. Thanks. JPG-GR (talk) 07:05, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Great work!

I've seen quite a few of your edits pop up on my watch list, particularly for radio stations here in the west. Thanks for the great work and keep it up, its much appreciated. Also, why not consider creating an account? Wikipedia needs more good editors like yourself! Milonica (talk) 07:20, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I agree: you're doing a lot of great work. I also agree with creating an account: that way you can build a reputation independent of your ISP's whims, and keep a watchlist to quickly verify that subsequent edits don't subvert your work. —EncMstr 23:21, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

I would just like to thank your for all the constructive edits that you have been making to Radio Station Articles, its not often that I get the chance thank an Ip for doing so many good edits, Also I would suggest that you create an account so that you can: Build an edit history, be able to create independent article, have a watch list, and the list goes on and on. Anyways thanks for all the great contribs and I hope you decide to create an account! :) --Mifter (talk) 00:51, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page KAVE do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'geocities\.com' (link(s): http://www.geocities.com/kavefm/) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 21:55, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Shared Radio Station IP?

I'm wondering if there isn't a radio station somewhere using Comcast since this is one of two different IPs I've noticed who have been editing in mass. If this is just one person, I personally think it would be a swell idea for that person to get an account. GO-PCHS-NJROTC (talk) 23:53, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Call letters WRQR to WSSM

Could you provide us with proof of this? I am waiting on two things to happen: instruction on the proper procedure for merging the WSSM and WRQR articles, and proof that I need to do so. I don't even have absolute proof WRQR plays classic rock. Still, I updated several other articles containing outdated information about this station.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 19:28, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

No one answered my help desk question, so I just did the merge myself.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 16:25, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
