[edit] Edits
Dear ElboMisery1993, I notice that you are editing under your IP, when you have an account, as seen here. I also notice you're trying to re-do the tables, but I would suggest that you discuss the changes your making prior to removing information, such as RIAA info, references, sales figures, etc., as the removal of information like that is likely to be reverted, as it is valid and helpful information for readers. I'd really encourage you to discuss your edits, make use of the edit summary box to explain edits, and keep in information that is helpful to those unfamiliar with the subject, especially RIAA ratings, as most readers would have no idea what sales figures = what rating (gold, platinum, etc.,). Cheers! Ariel♥Gold 22:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Hello! I can't tell you how many times I have discussed things on talk pages. And, they're always deleted off. I don't want the RIAA Ceritificatins present on Billy Ray Cyrus's dicsography page. It's useless, and doesn't need to be present. If someone wants to know the certification, they can look it up them selves. ElboMisery1993 22:57, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Please realize that just because you don't want them, doesn't mean that the item is not helpful to readers unfamiliar with sales figures. The consensus is to keep them, and removing them does nothing to improve the article, but having them in the article does improve it, by providing context for the sales figures. I encourage you to re-instate them, as I'm not willing to get into an edit war with you over this, but you are removing helpful, valid content, and it is not constructive. Thanks, Ariel♥Gold 23:04, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I respect the fact that you don't want to start editing wars, because I don't, either. The RIAA is NOT a helpful source, and doesn't deserve to be on THAT particular page! So STOP putting them back, because everyone know that RIAA.com is WRONG! ElboMisery1993 00:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
