[edit] May's Age

There is alots of websites that said that she was 14 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.23.57 (talk) 20:58, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

What websites are they? You need to provide sources to back up your statement. In any case, in the first episode in which she appears, she clearly states that she is ten years old. Since Pokemon is a timeless anime, she remains ten years of age. MelicansMatkin 21:19, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't remeber their names

Then they can't be used. Just saying that you've seen a source doesn't make it a reliable fact for the article. They were likely just fansites, or an opinion on a Pokemon forum. MelicansMatkin 21:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

No it wasn't no forum they put age 14 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.23.57 (talk) 21:38, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

It still can't be used because she clearly stated herself that she is ten. MelicansMatkin 03:47, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Just to tell you no 10 year old girl has a body like she does so i don't believe that she is 10 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.23.57 (talk) 03:54, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Well it doesn't matter what you believe, because Wikipedia is about verifiability, not opinion. MelicansMatkin 04:05, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Like i said no 10 year old girl has a body like she does —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.23.57 (talk) 05:20, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

And like I said, Wikipedia does not go by opinion, but by fact. May says that she is ten years old, and therefore she is ten years old. MelicansMatkin 05:25, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

That website also said that she was born in 1989 76.112.23.57 01:45, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

That website has no source. No birthdates of any characters are known, and in any case it is completely irrelevent. If May says she is ten, she is ten. End of story. MelicansMatkin 01:50, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Whatever you say that makes you happy you believe what you want and i'll believe what i want

you say May was 10 when she first stared whatever and i say she was 14 when she first started 76.112.23.57

Wikipedia is about fact, not opinion. You can believe what you want but opinions have no place in Wikipedia. Only sourced facts are included. I am not going to discuss this any more. And I will thank you not to mess around with a Talk Page after it is has posted. You can edit your own comments for grammar, but please do not remove them later on. [edit] Pokemon Advanced Episodes

That was sneak peak the real airdate was November 2003 i know because i watched and the first episode aired in November of 2003 76.112.23.57 04:20, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

It may have been a "sneak peak" of the Advanced Generation, but both episodes were shown in full. Therefore, that is their original airdate. MelicansMatkin 04:33, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Get the Show on the Road 11/1/2003 i got this from http://www.tv.com/pokémon/show/467/episode_listings.html?season=6&tag=nav_bar;6 76.112.23.57 04:36, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Your source is incorrect. I clearly remember seeing both episodes in full in March of 2003. They were later redubbed and then rebroadcast in November as a regular part of Pokemon Advanced. Stop bringing all of this to my Talk Page. It's the reason why article's have talk pages, so that every editor can discuss changes to the article, not just two editors. If you want to comment on it, post it here. MelicansMatkin 04:41, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

No I am not because all the other websites say Novemeber 2003 76.112.23.57 04:47, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Look, I've already said I'm not discussing it any more here. Take it to the talk page. MelicansMatkin 04:49, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dawn age

Dawn is 10 years old Following A Maiden's Voyage! 4/20/2007 i got from http://www.tv.com/pokémon/show/467/episode_listings.html?season=10&tag=nav_bar;10 76.112.23.57 04:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

That is not a reliable source. The only sources we can use for Dawn's age are the official Pokemon website(s), or an episode. In both cases, a source is needed. Stop posting all of this on my talk page, put it on the talk page for the actual article. MelicansMatkin 04:44, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Paul/Richard Moo Debate

It is not, Richard Newmna. Evenm if it was, you can pick up "traints" in actors voices. Moo does not sound anything like Richard Newman. For one, Richard Newman left the show in 2000 during the middle of season 2, and was replaced by Doc Harris. But yet, Moo still had the same voice.

Watch this video when it gets to Moo and Golem at 4:42. NOT the same voice actor. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/monster-rancher-13/1164860600 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 19:26, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Ok I watched the video i still hear Richard as Moo and just to tell you he didn't leave the show because he still credited he does various voices and other thing every website i went to for voice actors Richard is credited as Evil Moo 76.112.23.57 (talk) 02:13, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Well, I'm sorry but you're wrong, otherwise I wouldn't be trying this hard to convince you. Not to mention, some sites are not always "reliable", as I've found MR cast lists that said Saffron Henderson voiced Genki, Janyse Jaud was both Mocchi AND Pixie, and Sonny Strait was Ducken. Whichs all three are wrong, as Saffron Henderson was never Genki, she played Pixie, her fused form Granity, and a few others. Janyse Jaud was Mocchi and Lilim (who's an evil version of Pixie), but was never Pixie. And Sonny Strait was never on the show, as he is a Funimation vocie actors, and only candian actors in the Ocean Group took part in this series. Ducken was played by Terry Klassen.

Paul Dobson was the voice of Moo from start to finish. As for Richard Newman, he was Golem from season one and part of season 2 (among many small various voices), and left the show in mid season. His role of Golem was taken up by an actor named Doc Harris, who portrayed Golem from that point to end of season 3.

Here's an episode that had Doc as Golem (you can even compare the episode I gave you before) http://video.aol.com/video-detail/monster-rancher-43/1902864724 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 05:39, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Ever though that Richard and Paul could share the voice of Evil Moo like Richard did season 1 and Paul took over season 2 76.112.23.57 (talk) 07:00, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

If that were true, you would be able to tell a difference in Moo's voice... and Moo's voice never changes apart from getting a deeper pitch when he gets his original body back. Look, I'm tell you, Paul Dobson was Moo from start to finish, why would I be trying to convince you THIS hard?

What do I have to do to convince you that it's Paul and not Richard?

Voice Actors can switch roles you know 76.112.23.57 (talk) 18:30, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes....But you can immediatley tell and difference in voice when such a change happens. No matter how well you can "imitate" another actor, you can tell it's not the same voice. Moo's voice never changes through the series, apart from getting a deeper pitch when he gets his original body. Richard Newman sounds nothing like Moo, I've taken various voice clips from him and deepened them to try and get it to sound like Moo in the series...NEVER sounded like Moo. Paul however...I got it sound like Moo the first time.

Seriously...do I have to show you the difference? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 18:40, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Look i watched Monster Rancher since 1999 i have videotapes and every website i went to Richard is credited as Evil Moo 76.112.23.57 (talk) 18:43, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, so have I. Although, I don't know what websites you are talking about, because I can list a few off the bat that have Paul listed as Moo. IMDB [4], TV.com [5], Voicechasers [6], Anime News Network [7], CrystalAcids [8], Animeworld.com [9], This article from RetroJunk [10]

Look, I'm not trying to be a jerk...I'm just trying to tell you...Richard Newman was not Moo, it was Paul Dobson. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 19:06, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

I went to voice chasers and Paul is credited as Moo but Richard is credited as Evil Moo and i also went to Tvtome and Richard the same thing Golem/Moo 76.112.23.57 (talk) 19:21, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Okay...I've got something to show you.... Here's a clip from that new Fantastic Four cartoon, which Paul Dobson voices Dr. Doom...Hmm.. Doom's voice sounds an awful lot like Moo...especially when you compare it to that earlier clip I sent you before.
Doom Clip [11]
Moo clip [12] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 20:10, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Go to voice chasers type Richard Newman name and i watched that video DR Doom he sounds like Sideways from Transformers Armada and Paul also voiced Sideways Dr Doom and Evil Moo don't have the same voice 76.112.23.57 (talk) 03:52, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Voice chasers is a FAN-subitted site...just like Wikipedia, IMDB, and TV.com. I could very well get an account and go change the cast in there myself. And...I'm sorry, but are you deaf?! Dr. Doom's voice in the clip is the same voice Moo, which is PAUL DOBSON. Listen again, playing them back to back....It's same voice. I got about 20 people together, played all these clips for them and asked them who they thought was Moo....EACH one said Paul, NONE of them thought Moo sounded like Richard Newman to the slightest. You are the only person...that is fighting me on this...after I have provided all of this, just to convince you. What do I have to do? Physically write Paul or Richard to ask if they played Moo?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.39.195.183 (talk) 04:05, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Look believe what you want i don't care anymore you say Paul voices Evil Moo thats fine 76.112.23.57 (talk) 04:15, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page List of Pokémon: Advanced episodes worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. MelicansMatkin (talk) 04:26, 2 February 2008 (UTC) Ok about the Pixie Saffron Handerson(sp?) thing I've ED-MAILED Janyse Judde myself and asked her if voicing Pixie ever hurt her throte. She told me that it didn't and that she never got a sore throut from being Pixie's voice. Now for how many ep's she voiced Pixie I don't know and I'm sure that Saf. took over for Jan. 'cause after Pixie's defeat her voice does change. So I'm sure that Janyse Judde didn't voice Pixie from the start of the series to the finish but at one point for however long of a point that was she did voice Pixie. I just throught that you should know that. Also I was wondering if they ever made a 4th season to the show. I heard somewhere that they did but I've looked all over and I've never heard anything more about it. So I was wondering if the info. that I read was true.

[edit] May 2008

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to RMS Olympic. Most British people and many people internationally write dates in day-month-year order, e.g., 12 December 1904. Most Americans use month-day-year order, e.g., December 12, 1904. If the article is about an American topic, use month-day-year. If it is a British or European topic, use day-month-year. If neither, leave it as originally written. Many Americans or British people take offence if an article about their country, written in their local version of English, is changed around to a version they don't use. So please do not do that.

Dates are usually enclosed in two square brackets, as in [[12 December]] or [[December 12]]. This means that you can set your preferences (if you look around your screen you'll see the word preferences; click on it and follow the instructions) to ensure that you see all dates in the format you want, whether date-month-year, month-date-year or yyyy-mm-dd. The general rules on how Wikipedia articles are written can be seen in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Rules specific to dates and numbers can be seen in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers).

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on the web's fastest growing encyclopædia (or encyclopedia, if you write it that way!). Thank you. SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:42, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
