[edit] May 2008
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Dawg. Your edits appeared to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. CardinalDan (talk) 03:21, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Ghetto, you will be blocked from editing. Your edits have been automatically marked as vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this vandalism: Ghetto was changed by 76.104.182.237 (u) (t) deleting 26917 characters on 2008-05-07T03:24:04+00:00 . Thank you. [edit] "Excuse you"
You are excused, hopefully your future edits are more constructive. :) Chris M. (talk) 03:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Work? I don't really work anywhere, I'm a student, but if you're looking for info on tidal power the best place to check out is the article Tidal Power. It appears that a company called "Tidal Energy Pty Ltd" did the first successful commercial application of tidal power, but you'll have to read through that more to find out more. Chris M. - I'd hardly say I'm "screwing people over", I mean, these were your 3 edits here
- [1] - here you blank an entire page of useful information for one sentence of your opinion, which I undid as that is hardly useful.
- [2] - this and your other edit to the Dawg article aren't really constructive either. Compare the usefulness and your version and the one that existed before you erased it.
- Wikipedia is striving to be a useful and reliable wikipedia and edits like the ones you've done hurt everyone who's worked hard on it. If you are intending to actually assist in writing a valuable wikipedia for the entire world, then great, but if you just want to cause damage to it, then people, such as myself, will be around to undo the damage you cause, and likely you'll be banned. I hope it's clear now why I undid your edits and I hope things can only improve. Thanks :). Chris M. (talk) 03:50, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
- That was me who undid those edits. Noone is telling you to go away though, I can assure you of that. We're just doing our best to ensure that wikipedia is a useful and reliable as possible and your previous edits seemed destructive so we're informing you that you shouldn't continue doing that. I don't work for wikipedia. I'm just volunteering my time by watching pages and keeping out spam and vandalism. Since I don't know how old you are, I can't really tell you if I'm older than you, but I'm 20, so you tell me :). What do you mean by "an educated answer"? And who are "the wiki people"? Chris M. [edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:47, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
