The 75th Airlift Squadron (75 AS) is part of the 86th Airlift Wing at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. It operates C-5 Galaxy aircraft providing theater airlfit in Europe.

[edit] History
The 75th conducted operational training and air transport of cargo during World War II. It began airlift to Alaska and throughout the Pacific in 1952. The squadron flew almost exclusively to Southeast Asia, October 1965-April 1975. It also supported operations in Panama, 20 December 1989 and ongoing military operations in Southwest Asia since August 1990.
