There was a AfD for the article. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Toa Mata/Toa Nuva. I closed the discussion as delete. Please note: An AfD is not a vote; it is a discussion of the relative merits of keeping, deleting or merging an article. While it might seem there were more keep !votes, there was also some canvassing by a participant and the keep arguments were very weak. If you think there was a problem with the way I closed the AfD, you could take it to deletion review. Editors there will reconsider the issue of whether the discussion was closed properly.
